If you belong to a Patient Participation Group or a Clinical Commissioning Group, then you are encouraged to become a Member of the National Association for Patient Participation. We will provide you with the support, expertise and resources needed to run an effective group, which impacts the development of policy to continuously improve the quality of services and health outcomes for all primary care patients..

We will provide you with the support, expertise and resources needed to run an effective group, which impacts the development of policy to continuously improve the quality of services and health outcomes for all primary care patients.

PPGs – First Year Joining Fee £80

On joining, new PPGs receive all the benefits of Annual Membership and the following package of resources

  • 21 Ways to make your practice thrive
  • Top Tips leaflet
  • Other current relevant documents where appropriate. Plus all the benefits of annual membership

Annual Membership thereafter £80

In addition to all your first year benefits. Patient Participation Groups and practices affiliated to N.A.P.P. are offered:

  • A monthly e-bulletin
  • Ongoing telephone guidance on the formation and development of groups
  • Support for the formation of local PPG networks
  • Opportunities to promote the PPG and patient voice at a national level, shaping and developing national health policy and responding to national consultations
  • Occasional publications and reports
  • Bespoke support and input for individual groups, practices and networks (to be agreed on an individual basis – additional fee may apply)
  • Substantial discounts to N.A.P.P. national and regional Conferences
  • The right to contribute fully to N.A.P.P. Annual General Meetings.
  • A representative to speak at meetings where possible
